How the league works

Tablif is a game. The money is fake; the products, the prices and the outcomes are not. Your standing is earned the slow way — and here is exactly how.

You are ranked on return, not on wealth

Everyone starts with the same $10k, and we never print more. There is no weekly allowance and no daily faucet — the only way to get cash back is to sell something. The leaderboard sorts on alpha — how far you beat the market since you joined — so it measures your calls, not your balance and not your seniority.

That also means hoarding cash is not safe — it is a decision. Cash earns nothing while the board moves, so sitting it out costs you ground against the market.

And joining late costs you nothing on the table. Your score is measured against the market from the day you joined, so a fund that started six months ago is not automatically ahead — it just has more weeks on record. What an early invite actually buys you is a seat while there are still seats: each launch holds only a handful of investors at a time.

The ladder

Levelling up does not hand you money — it hands you room to be certain. A Rookie must spread $10k across at least 20 launches; a Legendary can put the whole fund behind one call. Concentration cuts both ways — that is the point.

Rookieis a proving ground — you don't appear on the public leaderboard yet. That is deliberate: the board should show people who have actually played, not everyone who ever opened an account.

How you move up
Two conditions, and you need both:
  • · You invested in at least 3 different weeks — effort, not one lucky swipe.
  • · Your return beat the market over the window — skill, not just activity.

Luck alone won't promote you, and neither will showing up. You need both.

How you fall
Go 4 weeks without investing and you drop a level.

Rank is a claim about your judgment right now, not a trophy from a good month two years ago. Standing decays if you stop playing — which is also why the people who start early and stay keep their distance.

Why your picks can't be gamed

Backing a launch buys you shares at today's price — it does not move that price. Nothing you or anyone else does inside Tablif moves it. A reality price moves only when the real world moves: the product survives (or dies), it wins a real award on a real board, or it connects a payment processor and proves revenue. You size every bet yourself — anything from $50 up to your position limit — and capital is one-time, so you cannot buy the whole board.

There is a second, separate league for sentiment — where the money is flowing this week. It is fun, it is loud, and it is kept strictly away from the price.

Get in with the next cohort

We open in groups, not one by one — a league needs opponents. Founding investors keep the badge.

Free, and it stays free — this is a game played with play money, never real money. The league ranks on alpha: how far you beat the market since the day you joined. Joining late never puts you behind — what an invite buys you is a seat, and founding investors keep the badge.
